Steiff 1908 REPLICA SAND TEDDY BEAR (403170) - 50cm Mohair Boxed Ltd Edition. This absolutely stunning traditional looking bear is is 50cm tall and is a replica of an original bear released in 1908.

Released in 2014 as a limited edition of 1,000 pieces, this being number 309. This replica bear is made from sand coloured mohair.

In keeping with the original bear he is stuffed with excelsior (wood fibres) and is fully jointed with a growler fitted, he has a shaved muzzle and embroidered nose and mouth and features the button in ear as you would expect from a Steiff bear, as this is a replica the button is patinated steel. This bear has been living in a smoke free home with adult collectors, he has only been displayed and has not been handled much to help preserve him. He comes complete with his original box and certificates as shown in the photo. The box has some slight wear and tear from being stored. He truly is a stunning bear and a must have for any collection.
