Steiff FRANZ Mohair Bear (034091) 52 cm Boxed Ltd Edition 96/110 - VERY RARE! This special bear is a very limited edition of only 110 pieces, this being number 96, so will grace just a small number of Steiff collections. Franz has a coat of the finest beige mohair with black tipping. His boot button eyes have been painted by hand, and his nose is hand-crafted from sealing wax.

He is a fully jointed bear and an impressive weight at over 3kg! The button in Franz's ear is stainless steel and embossed with the edition name. His unique woven label is black with silver embroidery, and individually numbered.

He comes complete with a stick of sealing wax, a replica of the famous'elephant' seal, a facsimile of the certificate of the patent specification from 1905 and a special pendant. Finally, he also includes a hand-made pin of 925 sterling silver. A true collector's piece!

Franz has been living in a smoke free home with adult collectors, he has only been displayed and has not been handled much to help preserve him. He comes complete with his original custom build box and several certificates and other paperwork. There is a slight dint in the corner of the box as shown in the photos but he arrived with this from the factory. This really is your opportunity to own a unique piece of Steiff history!
