Steiff 355554 Walt Disney Aristocat Marie Cat Limited Edition+ The Aristocats was the 20th animated film released by Disney in 1970. It featured the much loved pet cats of a retired and rather wealthy opera singer, that consisted of the elegant Duchess and her triplets. Upon discussing her will, a trusted butler eaves drops and realises, that for him to inherit he must get rid of the cats.

What follows is a kidnapping, resulting in Duchess befriending an alley cat (O'Malley) in order to keep her kittens safe, meeting an array of colourful characters on their journey, with vibrant music and songs, before being reunited with their bereaved owner. You may have noticed that 2020 commemorates the 50th Anniversary of the film and little Marie, the only female kitten in the triplets feels that she should go first, being that she's a lady. "Why should you be first? "Because I'm a lady. "Oh, you're not a lady" Berlioz.

"You're nothing but a sister! " Marie is 21 cm / 8.2 " in size with a turn-able head. She has been sewn from a mix of assorted piles in luxurious white mohair (primarily short-pile with fluffier long-pile accents), plus pink insert for the inners of her ears. Her glorious facial features (as depicted in the film), have been lovingly embroidered into place, whilst her pink nose, emphasises her pink shaded bottom lip and acrylic black whiskers. To finish, a deep rose pink velvet bow adorns her neck, with a matching wee bow for the top of her head. Wonderfully cute and a true Princess Kitty.
