Steiff BASCO (034343) - 31cm Red Velvet Mohair Boxed Ltd Edition 752/1500. Basco was part of a series of brightly coloured bears, he was released in 2014.
Basco brings to you a secret key, hanging around his neck! Basco is made from a unique, red-tipped short-pile mohair. His paw pads are made from stippled grey felt and his nose is hand-stitched in a matching thread. His muzzle is lightly shaved showing off the grey backing material of his mohair and bears the Steiff gold-plated button in ear with special elephant motif for 2014.Released as a limited edition of 1500 pieces with a gold button in his ear, this being number 752, Basco is 5 way jointed and stands 31cm tall. Basco has been living in a smoke free home with adult collectors, he has only been displayed and has not been handled much to help preserve him. He comes complete with his original box and certificates as shown in the photo.
The box has some slight wear and tear from being stored. His safety warning label has some creasing as shown in the photos.
