The Steiff designers were i nspired by a watercolour of a Teddy bear by Marianne Meisel (Richard Steiff's daughter). This superb bear was created as a result. She has rosewood-coloured mohair fur, large glass eyes, backed with felt, and she is decorated with hand-felted flowers. Her paw pads are made of airbrush-painted pink felt. This gorgeous bear has a nose, mouth and claws that have been hand-stitched. Marianne Meisel Teddy Bear has a gold-plated Steiff "Button-in-ear" and a red and white consecutively-numbered ear tag in her left ear. This highly sought after collector's bear comes in excellent condition with embroidered bag and certificate of authenticity. The bag has a slight mark on it as shown in the last photo very minor!
