Steiff Spider Set Museum Collection Limited Edition 2168/4000 (401732). Limited Edition of only 4,000. This wonderful limited edition set including a large spider and a small spider both called Spidy, are made from mohair in beige, brown, pinks and green. They both have their buttons and white/black tags along with the cardboard name tag, in all their original packaging. The original Spidy was issued in 1960, this one is a true representation of the original by the Steiff Museum Collection and comes in a nice presentation box to display and the original cardboard outer box. In excellent condition both spiders are still attached to the box. White/Black numbered ear tag and a gold-plated Button in Ear. Comes complete with outer box. Approx length 24cm large spider 12.5cm small spider. I consider the item to be in excellent to like New condition.

As a used item it may have some marks from use etc. This tag is used for limited edition articles.

Items bearing this ear tag have been modeled on old Steiff products and are designated as replicas. The total number of articles produced, the limited edition number and the year of issue are printed on the reverse side of the tag.
